Kojo Antwi, also known as Mr Music Man, a Ghanaian Afropop, highlife and reggae musical artist has agreed to work with the Pan African Writers Association ( PAWA) on a project to translate his new book: MR MUSIC MAN: THE JOURNEY into other official Pan African languages.

The decision was taken during Antwi’s visit to PAWA’s headquarters, PAWA HOUSE in Accra, Ghana on February 25 2026 where the musician also known as ‘ The Maestro’ formally presented his book to the PAWA Secretary General, Dr Wale Okediran.

Launched at an elaborate ceremony on February 13 2026 at the Labadi Beach hotel, the book which has been described as a ‘ memoir of music, life and legacy’ is a captivating narrative of the life and times of the multi talented artist who has worked extensively in the West African subregion.

  1. Hi,
I want to tell a true story about a five-year-old African girl who was kidnapped from her home under the color of law and trafficked into a world of violence, drugs, and prostitution in 2017 in the United States. I am not a writer; and as such, I need the assistance of a good African writer, who can make up for my lack of writing experience and is willing to work with me to illuminate this story, to the rest of the world.

This is a story that desperately needs to be in the home and heart of every parent (especially fathers) on the globe, for the purpose of illuminating the collective responsibility (and solidarity) we share in joining together and marching, as one voice, in the development of human societies, wherein the institution of family shall not be simply a pawn of the State; and the universal chorus, in the collective voice, will bring to an end to illegal practices of governmental and judicial overreach, where it exists. Please tell me how to start reaching out to writers across Africa, the diaspora, and beyond, to establish the collaboration that I seek.
    Many thanks!
